Starting Pre-School

What to bring

A named bag with a full change of clothes. We go outside and use messy play almost every day! Please ensure that your child has at least one change of clothes with them per session and send them in clothes that you are happy to get wet or covered in paint! We do try our best but will never interrupt a creative session for fear of splashes!

A clearly named water bottle, no squash or juice.

Packed lunch (if your child is staying for lunch club).  Please do not include nuts, chocolate or sweets, in keeping with our healthy eating policies.

Wellies and coat / outdoor clothing - rain does not stop play at our Pre-School!

During the warmer months - a sun hat and please adhere to our sun cream policy.

Your child may wish to bring something to share for Show and Tell. If they do, please pop their name on it and put it in the basket in the foyer.  We, also, love to hear what is happening in life outside Pre-School in the way of news from home so please do keep us updated!

Uniform

Uniform is not compulsory, but sweatshirts (£11.00) and polo shirts (£9.50) are available to buy. Please email Rachel if you wish to purchase them.

Settling In

We want your child to feel happy and safe with us, so we will work with you and your child to ensure that the settling in period is as stress-free as possible. Your Key Person will plan your child’s first days and sessions according to their interests and likes. We offer
